As a “cradle Lexingtonian,” Beth Bell Brown has had a front row seat to the evolution of healthcare in Fayette County. Understanding the history of what started as a small hospital and her recent experience with orthopedics inspired Beth to learn more about Baptist Health’s vision for the future of medicine.

“I’ve watched Baptist Health grow through the years,” she said. “It is an icon in central Kentucky medicine, a name we have known for decades in Lexington,” she said. “What’s more important than your health? Without that, what do we have?”

Beth believes philanthropic support allows healthcare to remain at the helm of medical advancement and operate above the marginal standard. “They’re always looking for the next level of patient care and experience,” she said. “That’s important to keep great care in the bluegrass, not just for central Kentucky, but also for patients in eastern Kentucky and surrounding areas who so often seek essential care right here in Lexington.”

Through providing support, Beth aims to assist in the advancement of the world of medicine in our own backyard.

“Through many conversations, I have learned that small contributions can add up to make a great impact,” said Beth. “It is my hope that what I am able to contribute will go towards great innovations to Baptist Health can continue to offer the highest level of care to my friends, family and those in and around our region.”
