For Heath Bowling, the decision to serve as a Baptist Health Paducah Foundation board member is personal.

“I was inspired to become a board member for two main reasons: to give back to the organization for all of the good that it has done for my family through the successful delivery of our four children, but also the caring and high-level treatment that Baptist has given to four of my family members who have unfortunately been touched by cancer.”

Beyond those reasons, Heath’s service is rooted in a desire to support delivering healthy outcomes to residents of Paducah and surrounding communities. He supports this mission not only through board leadership, but also stewardship — both personally and professionally.

Heath is a financial adviser at Edward Jones, a valued corporate partner of Baptist Health Foundation Paducah.

“Our purpose at Edward Jones is to partner for positive impact to improve the lives of our clients, colleagues, and together, better our communities and society,” he says. “So, our support of Baptist Health is just an extension of living our collective purpose.”

Edward Jones has directed much of its financial support to Baptist Health’s Ray & Kay Eckstein Regional Cancer Care Center, Carson-Myre Heart Center, and John & Vivian Williams Mother-Baby unit. “Our clients’ and our colleagues’ lives have been impacted greatly in these three areas, so as part of our firm and personal purpose we wanted to give back financially to Baptist so that they in turn could continue to positively impact healthcare outcomes in these areas.”

Heath encourages others to support Baptist Health Paducah to empower themselves as community leaders and to help improve healthcare outcomes.

“It is our hope that our financial support will help Baptist Health grow their impact on the lives of their patients, which will then have a positive impact on our community and ultimately society.”
